The Volunteer Center at United Way has provided an online volunteer matching platform since it adopted the work for the Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona nearly 10 years ago. We are transitioning a more user-friendly, app-based platform and are excited to share the product and
demo the opportunity creation process for volunteer managers.

Learning Objectives:

Attendees will learn the primary features of the Golden Volunteer App and how to create and promote opportunities to volunteer with their organization. Attendees will also learn how to walk volunteers through the process of downloading the app, signing up for volunteer opportunities, and checking in to their selected opportunities to track their hours.
