Tucson, AZ – The Southern Arizona Volunteer Management Association (SAVMA) is proud to announce the 2026 SAVMA Volunteer Fair, a community-centered event designed to connect individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities across Southern Arizona.
The SAVMA Volunteer Fair brings together nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and community partners to showcase a wide range of volunteer roles that support education, health, social services, environmental stewardship, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with organizations, learn about current community needs, and identify ways to contribute their time and skills.
“Volunteer engagement is a critical component of a thriving community,” said Micaela Varela, SAVMA President. “The Volunteer Fair creates a space where individuals can connect with causes they care about while strengthening the capacity of organizations serving Southern Arizona.”
The event is open to the public and welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, including students, professionals, retirees, and families. Whether participants are exploring volunteerism for the first time or seeking to deepen their community involvement, the SAVMA Volunteer Fair offers accessible entry points to meaningful service.
Participating organizations benefit from direct outreach to prospective volunteers and increased visibility within the region. The event also supports SAVMA’s mission to promote excellence in volunteer program management and elevate the role of Volunteer Engagement Professionals across the nonprofit sector.
